Added Unique Shopping Cart Bag Icon (Small Issue)

    Jamie,

I have had much success adding a shopping cart icon that changes from empty to full once items are placed in the cart. I have one small issue...

When a customer changes the quantity of an item to place into the shopping cart, say 3 for example, the item is added correctly, but the entire rest of the page will now have 3 as the default amount, instead of sticking to the default 1.

You can review the screen captures as it may make more sense.

If you can shed some light... everything works as planned except this one small issue...

I must have removed a piece of code along the way...

That is a side effect of adding the Quantity field to the product_thumbnail.tpl.php template file, and having Add to Cart Behavior set to return to category page. If you add the code changes I posted in this thread, it should fix the problem:

    It Works!

    Wow,

How the heck to you know this stuff?

Your code fixed the problem, it works! Your trouble shooting skills are excellent. If my car mechanic was only so good...

Hah! Thanks. I have thousands of tiny squirrels inside my brain working overtime.

I am not as good of a mechanic. I have been trying to fix my truck for a few weeks now with no success. The next step will be to put a brick on the gas pedal, hop out, and send it over a cliff.
