Inverted credit card number on e-mail with non ssl

    Hi Jaimie,

    version 3.35

I don't have an ssl connection, occasionally we do get a retail order from someone using their credit card. It used to be that their credit card number would be included with the e-mail but with the last number altered +1. We don't get that anymore. :<(

Has that feature been disabled? Or am I missing something?

    Thanks,

    Robert

    Hi Robert,

    Has that feature been disabled?
That feature has been gone for a long time for security reasons. If you have been using it with a transpose number of 1, it is a huge risk.

We have a thread from 2008 announcing this:

Since version 3, the upgrade script displays a prominent warning about this feature being removed, so you have the option of preparing for it before continuing with the upgrade. If you upgraded from v2.x to 3.x, that message would have been displayed at the start of the upgrade process.

    Transpose # 1

    Jamie,

Goes to show how often we use it. ;<)

I'd never noticed because I had you guys do the upgrades.

Oh well, I'll just accept checks and see if I can get my Paypal account hooked up.

    Cheers,

    Robert
