    Help with flat-fee shipping

I have a client who wants to charge $4.95 for shipping, regardless of whether 1 product is ordered, or 20. (Why I have no idea...)

I have not been able to figure out how to do this. Can anyone help?

I seem to have only confused myself trying various rules and so forth.

    Thanks-

    Jon

now you want all orders for 4.95? and that is the only shipping method? if it is the only shipping method make sure the priority is higher then any other shipping rule.

the setup is a little backwords to what you would think

Priority of 2 will be seen before priority 1

if you want to show others at same time, set them at same priority.

    Hi Dave,

I think that's what I'm already doing. (Though I am very hazy on how all of the rules work.) Right now, I have it set so if a customer buys product A, the shipping is $4.95. Or, if they buy product B, the shipping is $4.95.

However, if they buy products A & B together, the shipping is $9.90. My client wants the shipping to only total $4.95 regardless of how many products are purchased. That's the part I'm having a hard time with.

So if they buy A, or A,B,C, and D, the shipping is only $4.95.

Dave is correct. If the shipping is to be $4.95 for all orders, first:

    1. Delete or disable all your current shipping rules

    2. Make sure the courier you want to use is enabled, and make sure RTR_Enabled is unchecked (so real time rates are not on):

    3. Make sure the shipping method you want to use for that courier is enabled:

    4. Create a single shipping rule like this:

You don't need to add rules/conditions to it. If you don't, it will apply to all orders.

    Cool

    That's the ticket!

I had way over-complicated it and was lost....

Shows what happens when I think too hard! LOL

    Thanks Jamie.
