eCheck Disabled; Still shows on Site

So my client doesn't want to offer eCheck as a payment option. Is Javascript controlling this functionality with some sort of "show/hide" method?

I forgot to add that I have unchecked the "enable" checkbox within the admin, but the echeck option still shows under the credit card.

Would love any insight.

That is not a known bug. If you have the Electronic Check payment method disabled in the control panel under "Settings > Payment > Methods", it should not be appearing. If you open a helpdesk ticket, we can troubleshoot it for you.
