Coming in v3.4.0 - New "Purchased Items" category for easy reordering

We've added a new Purchased Items category. It automatically displays items that the customer has ordered previously that are available for reordering.

Because the category link is also account related, we've included it in both the Account Options nav block, and the Product Catalog nav block.



This is also going to be useful for stores selling supplies, where customers frequently order the same items. They will be able to easily see all of the items they've ordered before on this new category page. The default view for this new category is "table, multiple add to cart" which is a feature also new to the upcoming v3.4.0. That view shows items in a table and allows multiple items to be added to the cart with a single operation for faster ordering. That view seems to make the most sense for this special category, as the customer is already familiar with these items and may not need to see them in detail.

Since moving to 3.4 - I've had 3 customers email me privately to tell me they love the additional features.

Quick question... I've looked and looked but cannot find how to get the "Purchased Items" link to appear in the main Categories Navigation... It does appear when a customer logs in under the Account Navigation but, for some reason I cannot get that link to appear in the Categories Navigation after they log in, like you have in your example.

I'm sure I'm just one click away from getting it right.

That's great! Glad they like the new features.

You can get the Purchased Items category to appear in the product catalog nav block by opening it's category record in the control panel and checking the Display in Navigation checkbox.
