    Email getting sent to wrong person

    I had a client of mine tell me that she had a customer reply from the invoice email she received to ask a question about the order, and the email got sent to the person who had placed an order before her??? Any clue as to why this would happen?

    She is also not getting her orders via email. She has to go into the shopping cart to see the orders.

    I've never seen or heard of this happening before. Emails are sent to the customer as coming from whatever address you have configured on your Store Settings page. First, I would recommend trying to replicate it to see if this is actually happening. If you can replicate it, open a helpdesk ticket and we can troubleshoot it for you.

    Try adding your email address as an order recipient and placing an order via check or money order to see if you receive the email. If you want us to troubleshoot this, please open a helpdesk ticket.

    Hi Jamie,
    I changed the email to mine own in the store settings to receive the orders.
    I created two orders using two different emails and I received both of them.
    I replied to the second order invoice and received the reply in the email that I entered into the store settings page. I do not know what happened with her, but everything seems to be working fine. I didn't create an account, so I don't know if that would have made any difference. I also used money order / check instead of paypal. I will post agian if she has anymore problems. Thanks!

    Glad it's working OK. It should behave the same whether they create an account or not.
