Declined transactions - reports? lists?

Hi -

On my previous website, in my back end, I was able to go into my reports and if someone had attempted to purchase products, but their cc was declined, my shopping card logged it in.

Now my site has been completely redone. In the first month, I had many customers that tried to order using cc's but because we'd set up the wrong gateway (I'd signed up for PSi Gateway, but the merchant account provider set me up with Virtual Merchant - and it was a month before I found out about the problem - and any orders I did receive were paid by PayPal).

I would like to send a report of all of the declined transactions to my merchant account to show them the loss of business I incurred - and probably customers who were new who will never come back because of the issue.

Is there such a report through SquirrelCart? I've monkeyed around with the program to try and find something - but haven't yet.

Not sure if this helps, but our account with Virtual Merchant always sends us (email) declined CC's (however, we had to set that particular option up - I think in "setup")...

Unfortunately that won't work in this case - because we'd used the PSi Gateway instead of the Virtual Merchant (as we'd requested that gateway initially for our squirrelcart - but somehow we got signed up with virtual merchant instead) - so Virtual Merchant wasn't getting any information from us.

Thanks for letting me know about the special option - I'll check into that for future transactions.

We do not have a feature to log declined transactions. Most payment gateways will log that information.

Ok, Jamie - thanks - that won't work for me in this case since the gateway I was using wasn't the correct one...
