It would be much better if you can ship from the order page without going into edit mode. In edit mode, you cannot see the product options. I only open the order when i'm confirming that i'm shipping the correct product, so edit mode is absolutely useless for me. It would save a whole step or more if i can just open the order, confirm i'm packing the proper parts, and click a button to print a shipping label.
Also, i only ship using USPS Priority or Express. It would be nice if the software was smart enough to default to the shipping method that was selected by the customer, or at least default to a method that i specify in a rule or something.
Next, when i ship something to United Kingdom, that country does not appear in the list when i'm on the page to print a label via USPS. Great Britain is there, however the post office will not guarantee any shipments to the UK if the label says great britain. Am i missing something here? When i print a label on USPS.com, i can select United Kingdom. Same with PayPal.com.
Another issue is that when i print an international item via USPS Priority or Express international, it does not show the providence or country when i select the method. I have to go back to the order details and copy and paste this info here. What am i doing wrong?
Second to last, i have a dealer in Israel who i gave exclusive rights to sell my product in that country. Is there a way to block all orders from that country except for his?
Lastly, i keep getting order questions from people who just reply to the order confirmation that is automatically sent to them. I'd like to seperate questions from orders so i don't miss stuff. Is there any way to either get them to not email questions to that address, or have the questios redirected to another address without redirecting the actual orders? I'd like to set up an auto responder to answer the basic questions for those people who are too lazy to read my site and email me instead.
I realize a lot of this may seem rather trivial, however it will make a world of a difference for me. I spend most of the day at the computer when i really need to be making product. If i can cut some time off by streamlining stuff, that would be great. The shopping cart works great especially for what it costs, but i'm at the stage where i'm outgrowing the current configuration.
Oh and sorry i forgot one last thing..... sometimes i put text in a catagory page, like my faq section and whatnot. at the top of the page, it says "this catagory does not contain any products at this time". Is there a way to get rid of this, or is there a better way to add a page without products to my site?
Thanks a lot,
Dan
