zoom on product photo

Newport News' website has a feature that allows zooming in on the featured product photo. With two zooms, you can actually get in close enough to see details around the eyes of the models:

I'm not sure how it's done, probably a nightmare in coding, and I suspect the master photo would have to be at least 1000px to get that sort of clarity. Unfortunately, creating product photos might get complicated for someone who's not used to re-sizing, sharpening & tweaking their original photos.

I know this is quite a bit to ask for, and I'm certainly not trying to make your head explode, just thought I'd offer it as a suggestion

It wouldn't be all that difficult from a coding perspective. I will keep it in mind. We have so many things in the works, so this might not make it anytime soon.
