    EV - Extended Validation

    Jamie,

I am making the move to EV - Extended Validation - as in spending more than on a "normal" SSL Certificate...

I'll let you know if sales increase or not based on the 'green' browser bar and other features...

I figured if 100% of my sales are internet / web based - I should at least try to be as safe (in their eyes) to my customers as possible... Problem is Extended Validation costs a bit more.

If anyone is interested I could post the process, as there was a lot of paperwork and even included a visit to the accountants office - or at least with the company I am going with...

    Question...

I think because I am already using a SSL Certificate with SquirrelCart, it is actually all behind the scenes... am I correct? I believe it has nothing to do with any specific coding of the shopping cart as I'll just be installing a new SSL Certificate. Right?

Any problem running Extended Validation with SquirrelCart?

    John

Squirrelcart will work the same with any type of SSL certificate, as long as your secure URL loads.

I've been using Verisign EV-SSL for years... extremely expensive, but worth every penny.
