What is the cost to upgrade?

I'd like to upgrade from 2.4.6 to the latest, but can't find pricing. Hope it's free!

    To upgrade, you need to

    1. Download the latest version from our downloads page

    2. Follow our upgrade instructions:
    http://www.squirrelcart.com/help
    -- OR --
Purchase our upgrade service and we will perform the upgrade for you:
    http://www.squirrelcart.com/products/upgrade-service

If you purchase our upgrade service, your download access must be active for us to perform the upgrade.

You can check your download status on the "Your Account" page:
    http://www.squirrelcart.com/account.php

If your download access has expired, you can renew it for another year by purchasing a Download Renewal:

If you are using regular Squirrelcart, you can change your license to Squirrelcart PRO for the difference in price. When you do so, you get 1 year of download access for Squirrelcart PRO, 30 days of support, and all of our PRO modules. If you are interested in pricing for this, please send us an email including the name you used when you placed your original order:

I've successfully upgraded the site, and database, from 2.x, but the changes that I made to the few files like index.php (store.php), and store.css, aren't in the same on the new 3.x versions. It's completely different. It's what's been stopping me from upgrading from 2.x ever since 3.x came out. It's pretty intimidating if you aren't a pro web guru that knows php & css.

The code that used to be in store.php is now in the store_main.tpl.php template file. This allows you to have a theme that can completely change the storefront appearance which was not possible with v2.x unless you also modified the store.php file.

CSS is handled differently, and explained in detail here:
