www.example.com/sc_Install does not work

I've uploaded my files for new version 3.1 (from 2.6) and I'm at the point where i need to open browser and go to www.myurl.com/sc_install. the page is white (blank) with nothing on it. The browser title says "squirrelcart installation" but there is nothing to view. Any idea?

Without access to your site via a helpdesk ticket, its difficult to determine the cause. You may be missing files.
