    "Remember Me" not working...

I've searched and not found any answers about why this would be an issue. I "think" this started when we migrated from one domain name to another (company name change). I'm sure there is a simple setting and I'm just not seeing it...any help directing me toward the best place to make sure I've got everything setup correctly would be greatly appreciated. I've been over the config file numerous times, don't see anything in the control panel, what else is there?

The biggest problem here is logging into the control panel, if I close my browser I have to enter username and password EVERY SINGLE TIME to get back in. If I open the store front page, I will not be "remembered", but if I refresh the screen, sometimes it will decide to remember me. I'm sure there is just a cookie setting or something I'm missing...and I feel stupid for not being able to find it.

Yes, I have cleared ALL of my temporary internet files.

    Any suggestions???

I just tried this in v3.2.1 using Firefox 3.6.8, IE 8.0, and Safari 5.0 and was unable to reproduce the problem.

You mentioned you deleted your temporary internet files. Did you also delete your cookies? The remember me feature relies only on cookies.

    Yes, I deleted EVERYTHING!

As I said, it will remember me on the storefront (though not usually when I first land there...I usually have to hit refresh or click a link). It's mostly annoying when I use a shortcut directly to the control panel. Is there a reason that would be different?

No. I just tried visiting the control panel URL directly in v3.2.1 using IE 8.0 and was logged in automatically.

The only way we could troubleshoot this is via a heldpesk ticket. I'd also need to know the browser (and version #), and operating system you are using.

Sorry, didn't mean you were annoying. Just that it's like taking your car to the shop and when you get there it won't "act up".

I might have to open a ticket, but not sure how you will figure it out if you can't reporduce it.

I just checked and my browser is set to allow all first part cookies, prompt for 3rd party cookies and I even have specified my website to "always allow". It still asks for login information every time I close the browser and reopen.

I haven't specifically tried to reproduce it on your installation, so I can't say I will see the same results until I test it. You might want to try it on another computer if you have access to one.

All my IE testing is done with IE 8's default settings for privacy:
