Cosmetic Display issue

    Minor cosmetic bug observed.......

Bug not observed when one views a News posting when not logged in as Admin.

However, when a user is logged in as Admin and selects to view a News Posting, the [edit] box is displayed, and immediately underneth it is the date. The date is then overwritten with the first line of text from the news posting if it is top most line.

I am unable to reproduce that. If you provide a screenshot and your browser version I may be able to.

Here's the same thing in IE 8 in our demo store using an unaltered Squirrelcart theme.

It looks like you may have a
in front of, or a
surrounding your news post name, which would definitely drop the name down further than it would normally be.

Here's the entry for the News Post. I have barely modified a custom theme, .............

    Hmmm.

You have a paragraph tag surrounding your Post Name, which is telling it to put a margin above and below, and that is causing the problem.

Thanks Jamie. That fixed the issue. I'm not sure how the
and
made it into the source and I couldn't duplicate it.

I must have hit one of the buttoms above and not realized it carried an impact.

    Thanks again for the assistance.
