Product Discounts

Hello,

I have tried to discount individual products by using the formula:

1-3 = $5.00
4-6 = $4.00
7-10 = $3.00

This works GREAT!

However if I want to use a rule and apply a discount to the whole cart but limit it to a specific product using a rule for the quantity total it doesn't do both discounts, but if I do the WHOLE entire cart without specific products it does apply both.

Is this supposed to work this way?

Yes. Squirrelcart supports one discount per line item, and one discount assigned to the order total as a whole. So, if you have 6 items in the cart, you could potentially have 7 discounts. One for each item, and one for the order.

If more than one of any particular type discount applies, Squirrelcart offers the larger one.
