Anyone Using Virtual Merchant Out There?

Thinking about switching (well with version 3 have too) from my POS System to the eCommerce method of processing credit card sales. Since I am already with Elavon (the old Nova Merchant System) and have my merchant account already set up, I want to stick with them. Their eCommerce software is known as "Virtual Merchant"...

Anyone out there using them? I have had NO problems with there POS system and money always shows up in my bank account within 24 hours.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

just wondering if you went with them, and what you thought, I am switching to them, cant beat the rates and costco benifits, they did say that you can work with other gateways, I may just keep my Auth.net

    Just switched over today

I just started using Virtual Merchant today. The switchover was easy...it is a listed payment gateway in Scart.

I had three orders come in today without any problems and then the fourth order went through Virtual Merchant..showed up as a charge in the current batches. BUT there was no record in Squirrel cart of having processed the order. I recieved a blank order (with order number) email generated from the Scart.

Any one else ever have an issue like this?

    I Use It...

Yes, I use it. Never had the condition you speak off however... Is there some way that you have the settlement acting in a way of of the norm... I mean I manually do the settlement. In Virtual Merchant, you can have it set to settle at different times of the day.

I just feel more comfortable having to verify and settle each batch manually.

    Virtual Merchant

I found out that my customer was using IE with Windows Vista. She ran the order through again and it worked fine. She says it is not uncommon for her to have glitches occur with Vista, so I am letting this go as an error with the Vista interfacing with SCart and not the V merchant interfacing with Scart.
