Noticed that in the 3.0 manual under Backups/Backing up Your Files, there is reference to "home.php." I don't recall seeing that file when going over the beta checks.

Thanks! I'll fix it. The docs are now up to 600 or so pages (PDF version). A lot of that includes screenshots and the like - but there is still an enormous amount of writing to go through so I'm sure there are other problems in there somewhere.
Thanks,
Jamie

It's listed on the Restoring Files topic in the same section. I fixed both occurrences. I won't be updating it on our site until its released but it will be changed when I put the final version up there.
Thanks,
Jamie

hi Jamie,
With the new manual being so large (600 pages+), is it possible/feasible to have a 'revisions only' insert as an option for existing users?

Not without a tremendous amount of extra work

Also found in Upgrading/Addl Resources/General Troubleshooting.
Also "Moving to a new server."
"Theme database records" ends: "Those database records are:".
Having to really dig to find problems. A good sign I think.
Thanks,
Jamie

I did a search for "home.php" and fixed all occurrences in the final version of the docs.
Thanks,

My fault, I mis-read the section in Themes on the theme database records.
Thought the paragraph ended with "Those database records are:".
Down the page, requiring a scroll on my setup, the Nav block and other theme records are explained. Didn't see that on my first perusal.
