Thread: Problem with PayPal - order is charged, but order is not generated?

    I had been receiving orders correctly using Paypal until an order that I received yesterday. The money is in my Paypal account, but I have no way of seeing what the customer ordered because it has not been sent back to Squirrelcart. I have IPN and Auto-return setup and they were working fine with previous orders. I tested it this morning by purchasing an item myself and had the same problem. I also checked the temp table in the database, but the order last night was already gone. Please help. Thanks!

    This still happens to us too. We have about 3 - 5 orders that don't capture the address or the whole order. Never have figured out why but I think it has something to do with losing connection with PayPal and not getting the info back.

    I just started using PayPal and everything seemed fine and have bee getting orders fine, but now I'm having the same issue. So far I've had two customers asking where their orders are, and I have no record of the orders anywhere in the cart, but their PayPal has been charged. Not good.

    1. PayPal works fine when setup correctly.

    2. It is completely impossible to help anyone with this particular issue without access to their site and PayPal control panel via a helpdesk ticket.

    3. If you want our help with this, open a helpdesk ticket and we will either fix the configuration issue, or give you the exact information you need to fix it yourself.

    This thread is being locked. If anyone has a problem with PayPal, the first thing you should do is go back through our documentation and make sure everything is setup correctly. If you still have a problem after doing that, then the next thing that should be done is to open a helpdesk ticket.
