One late feature addition...

Version 3.0.0 is done, and we won't be adding any new features. I snuck one more feature in that was not in either beta - the ability to check the value of a product option using our Ruleset feature. This will allow you to setup a discount, shipping rule, or download record to only apply when a particular option is set to a value you designate.

We had many requests for this, to allow someone to issue a download only when a particular product option is chosen. This new feature now makes that possible.

Please note that this does not add the ability to discount product options, which will be coming in the future.

We've got a lot of documentation to write, and need to finish rewriting the installation script. When that is completed, version 3.0.0 will be released. We are hoping to have it done this month.

If your only requirements to release V3 are the install script and the documentation, it is possible to pre-release this to those of us that have installed and worked with the beta version?

We don't need the installer and could download the final documentation when it's ready.

The install script handles the upgrade process. For existing customers running Squirrelcart, if we were to do that they wouldn't be able to upgrade to version 3. We won't be releasing it until everything is completed.

Thanks for your help in the last while. I've been trying to learn my way around some newer programming (to me anyhow), and I'm starting to figure a few things out.

I know you'll be extremely busy during the next several weeks so I'll only ask for help if it's within the forum/help desk parameters, looking forward to the new version.
