When logging on as admin, the variant1 css file is not included. There are no colors. If I go to the control panel and then return to the storefront, the variant1 css is loaded and there are colors.
Coming into the store cold works correctly with the default theme styles displayed.
That is a bug in the beta and has been fixed in the final release.
