    Inventory list

Is there any way to pull from the database a report that shows me the item name and it's quantity on hand? I'd love it if it could be imported into excel. I'm currently on v2.4.5

You can see that data by changing the View option at the top of your products table in the control panel to Products - with stock total:

We don't have a feature to export that data to Excel.

I have not imported items to excel, but have done that for other things what I did was us the DB query (in sc), and added in the field names from the DB, and cut, and paste special in excel, yes its an extra step but works well. What I do so I dont have to remember the code each time i use it, I have the code in a text file also.

Hopefully that will help you export somewhat easier.

    ftp inventory controll excel file

We need inventory control that allows to ftp up and down to the server. Quickbooks has a POS solution that talks to the shopping cart through what they call "webconnector"

    Jamie, when?

If someone has got this solution, please respond.

I have no scheduled release date for QuickBooks support. It will be coming, hopefully this year. It is one of the last frequently requested features that we need to add, the other being import/export.
