Remove "Downloads" from account options

I'm not going to be offering any type of downloads. How do I go about turning off the downloads module and removing it from the account options nav block?

The easiest way to do that is to delete the folder squirrelcart/modules/download

I tried that, but the download link still appears.

The emphasis here is you have to delete the folder, not rename it (in case you renamed it ).

If you did delete it, then what you are seeing is probably due to cached session information. If you close all browser windows and then start over with a new one, the link should disappear.
