Account Thank You Letters

Since I'm dealing with emails and someone started an acct (lucky me!) I was wondering about if the cart has the function to send a Thank You letter (with promotional items) if someone starts an acct?

I would like to a least have an auto Thank You letter sent if they start an acct.


What I really like is an auto response for everyone who buys and who starts an acct. What I mean, is like a Thank you letter, then a series of timed responses (say once a week) that send out other promotional materials.

I found a free autoresponder script on the net called, "Email Marketing Assistant" can something like that be "hook in" to the cart, to work with the new acct function? It would be something like the Captcha that can be hooked in.

No, we do not have a built in feature to send emails when an account is created.
