Add To Wish List

Will v3 have a "wish list" ability? I've seen many sites (and use a few) where you looking around the site, not ready to buy but, want to add items to your personal wish list. Then when you are ready (a few days, or weeks or whenever) you look at your wish list and add items to the cart from their (the wish list) versus having to hunt around the shopping cart.

We find this valuable since my wife can add items to the wish list, then I can add my own items to the same list when I have time - then she can order what we both want without us having to sit together at the shopping cart screen.

Hope you can implement for v3 if it's not to late!

There won't be a wish list feature in version 3.0.0. We won't be adding any new feature requests for v3.0.0, other than features that are already completed or partially completed.

That doesn't mean there won't be a wish list feature in v3.x at some point.

Any more thoughts on if you or your gang will be coding a wish list type of scenario in the future?

We will be adding that in the future, but I don't have a date for when that will be happening.

Be good to see wish list, especially if the client is able to sign up an account save it and return to the list later in the day and finish their order. This will also allow the shop admin to email the client and follow up possible orders.

Still hoping for this one... We use this feature a lot when using other shopping carts, when we purchase online...

This could possibly make it into v3.3.0, but honestly it is doubtful. The list of things I have ongoing for v3.3 is very large and adding anything else is going to push the release that much later. I'm not ruling it out, but this is most likely still a ways down the road.
