Uploaded images have distorted colors

I'm having trouble with uploaded images in Squirrelcart 1.3.1. The colors are washed out in any resized images. Are there any known bugs?

Here's the GD section from phpinfo(). Permissions appear to be correct because the images are being written.

This all depends on what you're running.

IE and Safari will sometimes try to "color correct" PNG images. It's best to strip out the color profile from the image, if it exists, and then just not worry about Safari.
