Alright just so everyone knows.. I bought the cart today and I must say it is awesome. At one point I nearly lost all hope but I soon figured it out after reading a bunch of posts. I'm not finished yet, been workin on it all day. Everything is running smooth so far and with the help of the forums it's pretty straight forward in the coding as far as page and variable names and explanations. But.. it's no walk in the park..

If you are even THINKING about pulling off a full customization you should definetly learn php. I'm not talkin about the complex programming aspects, they took care of that for you.. I'm talkin about learning the structure of php and how one page communicates with another. You get what you put in basically.

Hey jamie how come I can't post on the members area :(.. anywho.. good luck ppl. I'll let you know when I'm finished

Hi,

Thanks for your post. Glad it is working well for you! :squirrel: We will be improving the template system at some point, and adding more documentaiton to make customization easier.

You were not in the group that allows you to post in the other areas. I just added you to it, and you should have full access now.

Thanks!
Jamie

Two months later: http://www.mobo2go.com . Yes, that is squirrelcart lol. As you can see it's extremely flexible if you know a bit about coding. I took out the whole dynamically generated pages and it still works great, if not better, then before. All the item descriptions and prices including thumbnail pages and individuals pages are called dynamically from the database so updating is as simple as changing a record number. I just want to say thanks Jamie for answering all my questions, and hopefully those skeptical about purchasing squirrelcart are a bit more convinced of what it can really do.

Wow! The site looks great! Almost hard to recognize the cart in there. :squirrel: Would you mind if I added it to our real stores page?

Thanks,
Jamie
