Image Problems

When I try to put in my product images, it says
getimagesize: Read error!

checked it out in FTP, tried up-loading the image to images/products/
It says it has exceeded the Disc Quota.

I have plenty of room on the server. Where should I look?

I've also been getting this error but have ignored it because my image was actually uploaded...My server recently upgraded to PHP 4.2.3 so i attributed the prob to that.
First check the permissions on your images and products folder they should be set as described in the docs- 777 I believe.
Then check with your ISP you should not get that Disc Quota error unless you are really out of space...
