View Full Version : Why don't my products show?

I'm trying to get this set up, and when I add products, you can see the thumbnail preview, but you can't see the product detail when you click on it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay! It looks like you are missing your store stylesheet, store.css, which should be in "squirrelcart/themes/squirrelcart". I suggest you FTP up your squirrelcart folder again, to ensure you are not missing any files.

is this file supposed to be in each theme, or just under squirrelcart?

I tried uploading the themes folders, but it still seems to have the same problem...when I click on an item I don't see the detail on that item...

It looks like you had a problem uploading your files. The stylesheet I mentioned:

http://www.watchesonline.info/store/squirrelcart/themes/squirrelcart/store.css

is there, but the file is empty. I would suggest that you upload all your files again, and then check the file in the URL above, and make sure it has content in it.

I don't know what is going on here. I just uploaded the file, and I looked at it on the server, and it has information in it, but when I run the demo store, I still don't see the detail for the products.

I recently installed the updated version of squirrelcart. Maybe this has something to do with it???

Maybe I should just delete the whole thing and start over again?

It looks like you have your stylesheet in place now, but still have some blank files. This file, which is the template that controls the product detail, is there but has no content:

I would suggest you reupload all your files. You may want to switch to another FTP program if you have the same problem again.

Hi, i am new to squirrel.

I have the same problem, when i add a product i seems to be ok, it diplay this message "Record successfully updated." but in the list below the message it does not show the product.
i am using the new version 2.2.3.
I am not doing this site on a server machine, i first want to try it locally then upload it to the server.
i dont know what could be.
can someone tell me how to fix it please.
