is there a way to lock down a demo so that potential customers can view the cart but not add anything to it or change any of the options that we set?

Hi,
The only thing I could think of that would do that is if the user account in MySQL did not have INSERT permissions on the DB. I don't know of the top of my head what the command would be to do that, but I know it can be done. They would get "query failed" messages though, if you go that route.
Thanks,
Jamie

Is there anyway you guys can work on this so that we don't run in to any S & M pictures loaded into the demo :) You laugh, but it has happened with other projects...

We can work on this. If you like, I can move this post to the requests section, so we can track it there. I understand the need for it, believe me! We have had the same problem.
Thanks,
Jamie
