Shared option values?

Hello. Am in early stages of trying to tie Squirrelcart in with a ticket ordering/booking system. Clearly then, dates are the product options that I'm needing to use the most.

Unless I'm missing something, I have to re-enter the days of the month for EVERY new product as new option values. Ideally, as these are obviously a write-once, use everywhere set of option values, I would like to simply allocate the 'entire' set of product options and option values to each new 'product/ticket' I add. Is there some way of doing this?

You could apply the options to a category, include the product in that category, then set the product options to Merge with Category Options.
