images not uploading

when i add a product the images are not uploading to the folder, when i try to do it manually i am getting permission denied errors, even though i have changed the CHMOD

If you CHMOD'ed everything, you shouldn't be getting errors, especially when uploading manually. If you open a helpdesk ticket and send us a URL, and an FTP user account and password, we can check it out for you. Please include a cart admin account and password in case it is not a permissions issue.
