No Errors, Navigation does not work (admin)

I seem to have installed the cart successfully, changed the default username and password. Beyond that the navigation doesn't work in IE or Galeon or Netscape 7. Is there perhaps something further down in the scripts that is not working? I don't think the server displays errors.

Any help would be appreciated.

Amendment:

I have installed the cart onto my dev server (which returns errors, if any) and it worked, unlike the install where it will be permanently. Still, the nav works better in Galeon than in IE5

MySQL v.3.23.55 on prod server w/ PHP 4.2.2
MySQL v 3.23.41 on dev server w/ 4.1.2

Amendment2:

I inadvertantly deleted the store_admin group when I changed the username and password for the admin, misunderstanding the meaning of the checkbox next to store_admin (I thought I was making her a member of that group)

Hi Richard,

Glad it's working! We have done no testing of the admin section with Galeon, but if it is based on Mozilla, I'm sure it won't work properly. The rest of the cart should, however. We are planning on making the back end multi browser compatible at some point.
