Shipping changed?

Has shipping changed recently?

I used to be able to set a default shipping cost of say £3.95 as an enabled service for most products with a zero cost option rule for orders over a specific value of £75.

I could then specify a specific cost (say £4.95) for orders that needed to have a greater postage cost for the heavier items but would still be given the option of having free postage when the (£75 rule) was met.

However, now it does not seem to work that way in 1.6.3

Is there a different way to do this now?

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand your example. Shipping has not changed, with the exception of maybe a few bug fixes. If you open a ticket and provide more info on the problem we can check it out for you.

I forgot about this one!

Is there a way to default all shipping to one standard charge but be able to have several products (that may cost more to post) at a higher shipping rate. I have tried to set this up but the customer gets an option to either choose the standard enabled service shipping or the more expensive shipping charge. I used to be able to have the option to default some products to the more expensive shipping charge.
