Okay...almost there. I accessed my websites store.php page and typed in "admin" with the password being "password". However , upon accessing my account details so that I might change my accounts username and password, it said that "connection was refused by server"
What is going on?
Things I have tried:
Clearing all cookies, temp files, etc
Ran Midnight Commander to remove all temp files from all applications
Restarted my entire system
Any ideas?

All the information you need to login is in the database. Just access the database look for the "Customers" table the first entry will be the admin, unless it has been changed, just copy the encryped password into the login with the user name and it will give you access. Just remember to change the password and user name.

This was handled via a help desk ticket, however; for the benefit of others, this usually happens when an invalid URL has been specified for the $site_secure_root variable in the cart's config.php file.

Just to clarify, when I said to access your database I did not mean for you to do that will SquirrelCart, most people don't even know how to anyway and it's not the SquirelCarts intended use. Your web host should have provided some way to access your database like a third party utility like phpmyadmin (the most popular one) or some similar product.
