Hi, I am completely confised with something that should be rather simple.
I logged into authorize.net and the account is running in test mode. I went n and placed an order for testing purposes. I am using a card number supplied to me from Authorize.net to test with.
I am getting the following error message:
We're sorry, but our payment processor has returned an error, and cannot process this transaction.
Specific error returned: (TESTMODE) This transaction cannot be accepted.
Please try this transaction later. If this problem persists, please email us, and we will assist you.
If you would like to try another form of payment, please click the button below:
I called Authorize.net back, they said this is a merchant software eroor and I need to take the merchant software (Squirrel Cart) out of test mode, keep Authorize.net in test mode and it should work for testing purposes.
How do you take Squirrelcart out of test mode? I didnt know I was in test mode.
