Hi

have a question/problem:

why users receive e-mail notification about order, even if payment failed?

Version: 1.4
Mod "Authorize.net SIM Improvements for v1.4.0" installed

Can it send notification ONLY IF PAYMENT SUCCESSFUL?

Hi,

It sounds like you may have unchecked the "Return to Storefront" field on Authorize.net's record in "Settings > Payment > Gateways". If you uncheck that field, then the cart assumes the gateway can't return to your site to report back the status of the order. Because of that, it has to complete the order on your site prior to sending the customer to the gateway. For Authorize.net, the Return to Storefront field needs to be checked.
