Here's my wish list:
I would like to see less steps in the checkout process. Less clicks per sale.
Maybe moving the shipping choice to the view cart page and dynamically display the payment info(or Paypal link) on the page with the choice of payment methods page. That way it's 2-3 pages not 4-5.
I would also like to have wholesale prices displayed for users that have registered. Filling out a form would register them as wholesale customers, if they were part of that group display a different price for each item.
I would like to see UPS and USPS integrated into the store, but in the mean time I'd like to see the shipping rules have have two level or options. ie if zip code first 3 numbers match one table it would say to use a certain set of shipping tables or if the country is different than the country the store is in use another set of tables. The only way I can see to do this now is to set the priority higher for overseas shipments.
I'd like to have the customer be able to login in and be able to see an order that has been placed. With an admin function to post time 'till shipment and tracking #'s after it's shipped.
I like to have the items ordered added to the orders table or in a separate table linked to the orders table. Then a admin function to query upon this info to see what sells best etc.
BTW, search engine friendly URL's are my top priority in requests that I have.
I know this all is a lot to ask for but I'd like to see one of the best shopping carts on the market become THE best.
