Some questions before I decide to start liking any squirrels :)

We have our own credit card processing in the office. Does squirrelcart provides for off-line cc processing?

If so, how does the merchant retrieve the credit card information in a secure manner?

Thank your for your answers.

Hi,

Thanks for checking us out. We do have an option to get credit card info for offline processing. We don't recommend it, as it is always better and more secure to use a payment gateway. You can learn more about our method of handling it here:

Thanks,
Jamie

Thanks for your answer. Good reading.

Could it be possible to have this email sent encrypted with PGP to make it much safer. Have you heard anyone customizing squirrelcart this way?

Can one modify the PHP scipts in accordance with the license?

Thanks again!

Hi,

You can certainly modify the code to suit your needs. Major modifications can make it difficult to provide support, but it is perfectly accecptable.

I have never configured it to send mail using PGP. If you are good with PHP, you should be able to modify the function that sends the emails to make it use PGP.

Thanks,
Jamie
