Hi,
Is there a way to allow users to bypass setting up an account with paypal and just go straight to payment? Could I also use a different paypal button and configure?
Thanks

No configuration is neccessary for this option in PayPal. When a user completes a transaction and clicks on the PayPal image to continue with payment, there are two options on PayPal's site. On the left is a form used to login to an existing PayPal account. On the right is a button used to continue the transaction, during which the creation of a PayPal account is optional. See the attached image for reference.

This is not what is shown when checking out from my site. Instead, a page is shown stating either to login or join and so on. There is no option to continue without having to open an account with them.
Thanks

After a little investigation, this appears to be an option within your PayPal account.
Login to your account and select Profile from the main menu, then click Website Payment Preferences. From there you're looking for the following section:
PayPal Account Optional
When this feature is turned on, your customers will go through an optimized checkout experience. This feature is available for Buy Now, Donations, and Shopping Cart buttons, but not for Subscription buttons. Learn More (https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-website-payments#)

I do not have this option. I'm based in the UK and this is what PayPal say:
'If you wish to pay a UK seller, you will need a PayPal account. If your seller is from elsewhere and has PayPal Account Optional turned on, you will not be required to create a PayPal account.'
Is there anyway around this? I know it's really an issue that should be taken up with PayPal, but I really need a solution to this because having to sign up on my site and then having to again sign up at PayPal is putting quite a few people off and they are not going through with their transactions.
Is there any possibility that you could integrate Nochex as this would be a good alternative and a massive help.
I know there is Worldpay available, but their setup costs & fees are quite high and not a possibility at the moment.
Thanks again.

As you stated, this is a PayPal issue. Since you're based in the U.K. a PayPal account will be required by your customers. There is nothing that we can do about that.
We do have plans to integrate NOCHEX, but a date has not been set for it's availability.
