ok...I have exhausted all other options and (short of starting over with another cart) my client has agreed to use UPS Real Time Rates.

I have enabled the courier, selected the methods, and enabled a RTR failure rule (similar to the USPS that comes default).

The real time rates are failing...what do I need to do to get them to work and verify that everything is kosher before taking the site live? When I am looking at the courier method, it says that I am "Registered and able to use the UPS Online tools."

(I also entered this as a support ticket, but thought with this being a weekend, some other poor, lost soul might be in reading this forum...like me...except with an answer :D )

Thanks in advance for your help!

ok...I have figured out where the problem was...me! :banghead:

Helpful hint: When creating test orders, be sure to enter a REAL ZIP code (instead of gibberish) into the shipping address, so UPS can have a REAL PLACE to ship to. :o

Can't believe it was something that stupid, but we all have our moments. Thanks, Rich, for looking into it.
