We use the weight of each product to determine shipping cost. We don't use any live shipping calculations. It's pretty much fixed.
We know what the shipping cost will be prior to obtaining any billing or shipping address information. We'd like to display the shipping cost where it currently reads TBD when a product is first added to the cart.
Could you please provide a solution. (I'm not afraid to edit the PHP code)
