Hi, I have a quick question:

Is SquirrelCart compatible with all browsers?

The reason I am asking is that I was looking at your demo site (admin demo) with both IE and Netscape. Netscape would not show me any side scroll bars to get around certain parts of the demo, whereas IE showed the scrollbars. Also, the PLEASE WAIT ... stayed on the screen the whole time with Netscape. Are there and browser quirks that you know of, or is IE the only browser that can be used with the Admin section?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. The storefront portion of the cart works in all browsers. The admin interfaces requires IE 5 or higher. Did you see the scrollbar problem in the storefront? If so, could you please let us know your version of Netscape so we can check it out?

Thanks,
Jamie

First of all, thanks for the quick answer. At least I know customer service is outstanding.

I did see the storefront correctly. The scrollbars showed up on the start page fine. It seems that IE is the only browser that can use the admin pages. Will this possibly get fixed in the future? The reason I am asking is that I would be running the site on a linux platform, and the only other platform I have is Macintosh. It seems that any "Mozilla" based browsers, Netscape, Firefox, Mozilla do not work correctly in the admin pages.

I can always get around this by using IE on the Mac platform if need be.

Thanks again for your quick response.

We will be making the admin interface cross browser compatible in the future.

Thanks,
Jamie
