View Full Version : add to cart quirk

Whenever I have the cart settings set to "go to checkout" and I try to add a product, I am getting this:

There are no items in your cart.

If I set it to stay on product page, it works fine. I need the ability for the customer to go directly to checkout after clicking on "add to cart".

is there a thread explaining how to correct this for version 1.1?

Anyone wanna give us a hand with this issue or is this forum dead?

Now when we add a product to the cart, it does nothing. No changes made, just doesn't work.

Not sure what to do. Have a web server license, but unable to get the latest version due to expired download time??? Whats up with that?

Hi Shannon,

We are not aware of a bug in the code for version 1.1.0 that would cause this problem. It could be a session configuration issue. If you post the URL that you are having a problem with, we may be able to determine what the cause is.

You actually purchased a Multiple Site license, which is good for 10 installations of Squirrelcart, as opposed to the Server license which allows for unlimited installations on the same server.

At the time of your purchase on 03/21/2003, the Multiple Site license included 1 year of support and 1 year of access to the download area. Since that 1 year term has elapsed, your support and download access has expired.

As explained in your help desk ticket, renewals are available. The price of renewal for a license is half of the current price for that license (rounded to the next dollar). The current price of the Multiple Site license is $445, so the renewal fee is $223. This renewal includes another year of access to the download area, and 90 days of support. If you choose not to renew, support is still available based on a per incident fee of $25. Access to the forums is always available.

Should you decide to renew your access, you will need to contact us and request a custom payment link. Renewals are not yet listed on our site.

I beg to differ with you Rich. When I purchased, I originally purchased a single site, then immediately got with jamie and applied the amount to upgrade to a web server license. Your records are in error.

Rich,

Sorry for getting testy with you man. Been dealing with Business Class Roadrunner for 3 weeks now and guess it boiled to a head today. I would like you to double check on that web server license because I was under the impression that I had purchased a web server license back before you increased your pricing. When it was $399 for the license.

I found a copy of the 1.4 version in a backup folder, so I must have download it before my account expired. Problem fixed. Sorry again for being an arse, not usually me.
