Thanks for the help on foreign shipping settings.
As for domestic, the shipping cost I need to implement is $12.00 for one product and then $1.00 more for each additional product.

How can I set this rule?

Thanks,
Rich V

Hi Rich,

There is no easy way to do this.

Thanks,
Jamie

Most of the products I sell work on this kind of rule mentioned in the question above i.e. x amount shipping cost for one and an extra x amount for each additional item.

So a product might have a shipping cost of say £2 if you buy one and an extra say £1 for each item after that.

I currently use Roman Cart, which doesn't suit my needs like Squirrel Cart does :) but it did offer the following rules, which you could set up for each individual product:

shipping = e.g. £2.00
shipping second = e.g. £1.00
shipping other = e.g. £0.50

Is there no way to do this Jamie?

Is there no way to do this Jamie? No, this scenario isn't possible at the moment. The cart's shipping configuration will be receiving a major overhaul at some point after the release of v2.0.0.

Hi Rich,

Many thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.

Do you have any idea as to time frames? I think I will have to continue with my old cart until some of these Squirrel changes are made :scared:

I am a very new user of Squirrelcart and I have very similar shipping method requirements as mentioned in this thread. However, right now I'd settle for one simple variation... a minimum shipping charge up to a certain amount. For example, I'd like to charge a flat 10% for shipping with a minimum shipping charge of $6 for all orders under $60. Can this be done?

I was able to use the "rules" feature for UPS Ground to create two priority settings (1 and 2) for the desired shipping settings. I set #1 to be $6.95 for all order totals more than zero. I set #2 to be 10% for all order totals over $70. The logic works great for my current situation and dropshipper, but I'm not sure what to do later if I have UPS Ground for a different set of products with different shipping and handling rules.
