I see you have been working on discounts since 1.2.0 was released, but my need is simpler than a full system.
I want to be able to offer established members of an organisation different prices than a visitor and also the ability to purchase member-specific items.
I can see some hooks there: there's a group membership field that could be extended and actions that can be triggered when someone establishes an identity so that they can be transferred to a membership status by an administrator.
Is my best bet to add a field to the product entry for a different price, or is a better discount mechanism coming real soon?
