admin demo-csv upload

Hello
Is there an admin demo I can use somewhere so I can see if I like it? and is it possible to upload my products from a XL csv file and can I do manual credit card processing as opposed to a gateway such as PayPal

Hi Paul,

We have two demos available. One for the front end (main cart) and one of the admin control panel. Both are available here: http://www.squirrelcart.com/demo_stores.php (http://www.squirrelcart.com/demo_store.php)
There is nothing built in to Squirrelcart that allows you to import an existing list of products. However, if you're familiar with MySQL, you could use a tool like phpMyAdmin to import the data manually. Some of our clients have done this successfully.

For security reasons, Squirrelcart does not store credit card numbers, so there is no way to retreive them from the system after an order is processed. You can have the credit card number emailed to you but this is not recommended (it's not secure). If you do decide to do this, there is an option that will allow you to scramble the number.
