sql error

When adding a category I get the following message above all of the image entering dialog boxes (before I enter anything...)

MySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1
Query was: SELECT Image FROM Categories WHERE record_number =

Can you tell me what might be happening here?

I didn't get this in version1.09. This is a clean install of 1.30.
